So your trial date is set! Now what? What do you need to know? What to bring? I will answer all of those questions for you to make the process as seamless and effortless as possible.
1. How soon should I schedule my trial?
I personally like to schedule my trials right away. It is important to learn early if we are a good fit and if you are pleased with the trial outcome. I do not recommend leaving your trial to a month before your wedding.
2. Do I need a makeup trial?
Absolutely! Your wedding day is not the day to be experimenting with a different makeup look and different products. We want to ensure there are no skin reactions. We both will be more relaxed the day of when we know what to expect.
3. When do you schedule trials?
Bridal trials are scheduled Monday to Friday Between 1pm and 6pm.
4. Where do I go?
Trials take place out of my home on the Southside of Edmonton. There is plenty of parking!
5. Can I bring someone with me?
Due to spacing issues, I allow up to two additional guests to accompany you. So feel free to bring your mom or your girlfriends.
6. Should I come with a clean face?
If possible, yes, if you are coming straight from work please do not worry! I will be cleansing and exfoliating your skin anyways.
7. What should I bring with me?
Please bring photos of your dress, your wedding colours, floral inspiration, and how you plan to do your hair. All of these will tie into the look that I create for you.
8. I have no idea what makeup look I want!
Have no fear! That is why you hired me! We will talk about your daily makeup routine, how you do your makeup when you get dressed up. We will discuss your wedding colours etc. I will then make suggestions as to what I think will look best. If you agree we will move forward with creating that look. We can make minor tweeks at the end of the application.
9. How long will the trial take?
On average trials take 1.25 hours.
10. I love it! Now what?
Amazing! I will take photos of the look as well as write down all of the products that I used. I will tell you to take selfies of yourself, checkout the makeup in different light. It is very important for you to have open communication with me so that I can perfect everything for you! So if you want to make any changes it is imperative to let me know. It is your wedding day and I want it to be perfect for you.
And that is the trial! Now go out for dinner and let your gorgeousness be seen!
As always please message me with any questions.
